Starting point
The switches in the Maserati 4200 turn sticky and degrade until they are barely recognisable. Replacement parts are no longer available, and buying new ones would make little sense anyway, because new switches go the same way. Developing a way to restore these switch assemblies was a Sisyphean task. It took us two years, on the side, while the day-to-day business carried on. At times we were close to despair, because these parts behave differently from the Ferrari ones. It is a mistake to believe they are easier.
Work
Every switch is dismantled individually. When recoating, we make sure not to use the same coating again, otherwise everything would dissolve and turn sticky once more. The switch symbols are then reapplied to the switches 1:1.
Result
The before-and-after pictures speak for themselves. Anyone who looks at the parts afterwards understands what we mean. Since then, alongside Ferrari and Lamborghini, we are also your contact for sticky plastic parts in the Maserati 4200. We look forward to receiving your parts.
