Starting point
On the Ferrari 355, the coated plastic surfaces in the interior had become sticky. Switches, ventilation parts and trim left residues when used. A normal interior cleaning could not restore the damaged coating. The challenge lay in the delicate components, whose function had to be preserved: thin instrument rings, various switches and backlit symbols on the climate control panel. Colour and gloss level were to match after the work.
Work
The affected parts were removed and dismantled further. The damaged coating was carefully removed and the surfaces were then rebuilt. The documented cracked instrument ring was stabilised, filled, sanded and primed. Matching lettering was produced for the climate control panel and the ventilation arrows; the films were matched in appearance to the other parts.
Result
The treated surfaces can be operated and wiped down again without the previous sticky residues. The complete original gallery shows the individual components. The scope of repair and the options are assessed separately for each condition in which parts arrive.
