On the Ferrari 456M GT, the soft factory coating of the centre console had become sticky, a typical picture on cars from the 1990s. The plastic underneath was intact.
Work
The old coating was stripped completely, the carrier was cleaned and the surface was rebuilt with its original look and feel. The 456M GT lettering and the symbols were preserved.
Result
The console is once again grippy and matt as it was from the factory. The photos show the same component before and after the work. Draft; details of model year and timeframe to follow.
