Starting point
A regular customer from the USA had bought a new Porsche GT4 RS and brought it to us for a full paint protection wrap. The car was then to be flown to the USA. Only a few days remained before the planned transport, and the cut patterns had to match the specific specification of the car.
Work
We adapted the cut patterns in the software to the car’s specification and pre-cut them on our film plotter. The film used was LLumar Valor. In addition to the entire body, according to the project report the carbon airbox in the engine compartment was also wrapped. To meet the deadline we put in several night shifts; otherwise the Porsche would have missed its flight to the USA. Product and warranty conditions are discussed for a new order on the basis of the film actually used.
Result
The GT4 RS was fully wrapped and ready in time for the planned transport to the USA. The gallery documents the full wrap, and a linked video complements the picture series. According to the original report, the photographs were taken without Photoshop or filters. Which surfaces are worth protecting on your car is something we discuss with you personally.
