Porsche 992 Turbo S

Starting point

The brand-new Porsche 992 Turbo S with 650 PS received the full package from us. At the very first inspection we carried out a paint depth measurement. It revealed that components such as the doors have only 50 µm of paint in places. With so little material, no larger scratches can be removed; the risk of polishing through the paint is far too great. The rear diffuser was painted so thinly that the primer shows through.

Work

Against this background, the customer’s decision to have the car fully wrapped was the right one. The choice was the 300 µm paint protection film with a ten-year manufacturer’s warranty. It went onto all painted parts of the car as well as the black trims, air intakes, diffuser, spoiler and doors. We then applied our ceramic coating to the film.

Result

The Turbo S is 100 percent wrapped in paint protection film and sealed with ceramic coating. The thinly painted components in particular, such as the doors and rear diffuser, now sit under film without the paint having had to be polished. We show the car in more detail in our YouTube video.
