Porsche GT3 RS Weissach

STARTING POINT: This Porsche GT3 RS with the Weissach package is built for the race track, and that is where the paint is under the greatest strain. The owner opted for the full programme: paint protection film on the entire car, followed by ceramic coating.

Work

WORK: We covered the Porsche completely in LLumar paint protection film except for the rear bumper, including doors, wings, bonnet and bumper. The reason the film does not show on the paint lies in the preparation: the paint is thoroughly corrected before wrapping. The car, including the film, was then sealed with our Keramik-Carbon ceramic coating to make care easier. According to the manufacturer’s information in the report at the time, the LLumar film is self-healing, impact-, knock- and scratch-resistant, car-wash safe, temperature-resistant, removable almost without residue and recognised by insurers; it does not yellow, forms no creases or bubbles even on strongly curved surfaces, and protects the paint against stone chips, where rust can form. The material warranty was stated at the time as 10 years.

Result

RESULT: The GT3 RS is thus ideally equipped for the race track: protected against stone chips, in original condition and with an even high gloss on paint and film. We will give you care instructions for the time afterwards when you collect the car.
