Starting point
The Porsche Boxster S was one of the biggest projects in our workshop in 2019. The interior showed clear signs of use: the carpet had a great many burn holes and was beyond saving. The carbon parts in the interior were heavily yellowed, and in many places the weave of the carbon had shifted. The centre console, too, had too much damage to be worth keeping.
Work
We renewed the interior in three areas. The old carpet was removed completely and replaced with a new one. We removed the yellowed carbon parts and exchanged them for new, high-quality carbon parts. The damaged centre console was also replaced with a new part. Added to this was our LZ730 sealant.
Result
Inside, the Boxster S is back in clean condition: a new carpet without burn holes, new carbon parts without yellowing or shifted weave, and an intact centre console. The comparison pictures from the report at the time clearly show the difference between the starting condition and the final result.
