Starting point
Matt paint forgives no polishing: scratches cannot be polished out, so film is the only protection here that preserves the paint.
Work
The exterior of the AMG GT was covered in matt paint protection film. At the rear, the film was laid over the AMG lettering and worked snugly around the letters, with no cuts on the paint.
Result
The matt surface stays matt, the lettering stays visible, and the paint underneath stays untouched. Draft; film type and scope to be added.
