The Capri is driven, not just displayed. The old paint on the bonnet and wings was to be protected from stone chips without touching it.
Work
The bonnet and wings were cleaned and covered with paint protection film. On a classic we first check the adhesion and condition of the paint, because old and repainted surfaces react differently from factory paint.
Result
The film protects the surfaces that take the most punishment on the road and can be removed again later. Draft; details of model year and scope to follow.
