Starting point
The convertible had stood damp for a long time. Mould had spread over the leather seats, door panels, steering wheel, dashboard and carpet. Before any cleaning came the question of the cause, otherwise the infestation returns.
Work
The interior was stripped, seats and panels removed, carpet and insulation inspected. Affected surfaces were cleaned and disinfected, the leather was then conditioned and rebuilt, and parts beyond saving were replaced.
Result
The photographs show the interior before and after the work. The remediation documents the visible condition, not a laboratory test. Draft; details on cause, model year and timeframe to follow.
