BMW F22 M240i

Starting point

The BMW F22 M240i is the sportiest version of the 2 Series Coupé. Its B58 engine produces 340 PS, which makes it a real alternative to the M2. The car came to the workshop as a new car in winter, with the aim of protecting the paint from road salt and moisture from the outset, and from insects and UV damage in summer. Preserving value starts with a new car.

Work

First the paint received the LZ730 brilliance sealant, which seals the paint and provides depth of gloss. Then the bonnet and bumper were covered with stone chip protection film, the areas most affected by stone chips in everyday driving.

Result

The photos from the report at the time show the beading of the sealant and a rich depth of gloss. Regardless of the season in which a new car is bought, in the workshop’s view a paint sealant and stone chip protection film are always recommended and contribute to preserving the value of the car in the long term. Vehicle detailing has been part of the business since 1997.
