BMW M3 E30 Convertible

This BMW M3 E30 Convertible is one of 786 built and has an original mileage of 3,875 km. You rarely see a car in this condition. According to the owner, the BMW Museum is very interested in taking the car in; before that, all blemishes were to be removed. One peculiarity of the M3 E30: the left and right sills were painted matt at the factory. Anyone who polishes them to a high gloss out of ignorance or dislike robs the car of its originality, and even repainting them in matt does not restore the original condition.

Work

The paint received a gentle paint treatment and was finally sealed with our LZ 730 brilliance sealant. The engine was cleaned entirely by hand so as not to endanger the electrics with a pressure washer. The leather was deep cleaned and conditioned; all flaws were pigmented so that nothing of them can be seen any more.

Result

We were reluctant to hand the M3 E30 Convertible back, but glad to have worked on it. We are proud to have probably been the last to lay hands on this car before it goes to the BMW Museum in Munich. For ongoing care we recommend matched paint care and a gentle leather care set.
