Starting point
A Maserati GranCabrio Sport in solid black arrived at the workshop with paintwork that had clearly seen heavy use. As the pictures from the report at the time show, the surface was covered in surface scratches, holograms and dull patches. On a solid black in particular, such defects stand out strongly and rob the paint of its depth.
Work
For four days the entire car underwent intensive paint correction, and we kept going until the team was completely satisfied with the result on every panel. This was followed by two further days for the LZ730 brilliance sealant, which creates the desired deep gloss on black.
Result
After six working days in total, the Maserati’s paintwork showed the deep gloss we were aiming for. The photographs from the report at the time document the starting condition with scratches and holograms. Exclusive vehicle detailing has been part of our business since 1997.
