BMW M2 G87 (two cars)

Starting point

Two BMW M2 G87 came to us with a very similar package. The M2 in Sapphire Black metallic had around 2,000 km on the clock, the M2 in Brooklyn Grey metallic around 1,000 km. So these were new cars, and as so often, both already showed scratches and iron fallout. We very rarely see new cars without defects. With us, these defects always have to be removed first, because we never coat or wrap over defects like these.

Work

On both cars, the scratches and iron fallout were removed first. Only then were they wrapped. For the stone chip protection we used LLumar Valor, as usual with us. According to the report at the time, the film is about 200 µm thick, self-healing and has a ceramic-like coating. It does not yellow or lose gloss, is recognised by insurers and, according to the manufacturer, can stay on the paint for up to twelve years. We do not consider a thinner paint protection film sensible. Each car comes with a warranty card and roll number, which lets the manufacturer confirm that the film is genuine. We are a certified LLumar and Gyeon team and hold the 1S certification for electric vehicles.

Result

Both M2 left the workshop without their initial paint defects and with stone chip protection. The photos were taken without Photoshop or filters; the cars were placed in the sun for them.
